Our Story
Formerly Nonnie’s Gardens
“Thank you for stopping by and viewing the cultivars I have to offer. All of the daylilies I offer are grown in my gardens and have proven the hardiest in the Western New York winters.”
Often called the “perfect perennial” for its showy flowers, wide array of vibrant colors, drought tolerance, heat-stress immunity, ability to grow in most hardiness zones and low care requirements, the daylily (Hemerocallis) is a remarkable and stunning addition to any garden.
In 2008 I visited my very special friend, Rosie Plummer, and she had the most beautiful gardens — filled with daylilies, peonies, irises, poppies and numerous other lovely perennials. When I left her home that day, I left with several daylilies she had dug up and tagged for me. That day was the start of a rewarding venture. Thank you, Rosie, for introducing me to such beautiful flowers.
At present we have five beds and two large gardens with over 450 cultivars at our home in Holley, New York. Every plant we offer is grown right here — not brokered — and has proven itself through Western New York winters.
